Yes it will.
The difference is that it lacks the jack for the 'Accu" charger. So you
have to use either regular AA alkalines or rechargeables from another
charger.
Just be sure to load them right-- the small semicircles are for the
positive end of the batteries. The angled and coiled springs are for the
negative.
And yes, you can use alkaline batteries in the 6080 for
silent film cartridges. They won't hurt it, especially if the batteries are a
little worn.
