Hello everyone,
It seems my contribution to the list has provoked some anger and discussion.
Apologies for the large file that I attached to the previous e-mail. I realise the file was a bit larger than necessary (due to the flyer-image). I sent it amidst a panic-frenzy moment when I began to worry about attendance/prints/etc.
At least, I hope some of you found the content interesting.
The screening tonight was well-attended and it seemed like people enjoyed the films. For those of you who attended, thanks for coming and I hope you enjoyed the programme.
You know what clogged up my inbox? All the replies about an attachment. I thought this mailing list was for filmmakers/audiences/programmers who enjoy watching experimental films. Most of the mail I've receive the past few months through this list has been boring discussions on facebook and e-mail attachments.
Oh well, I'll try and keep reading.
Julian

Cari,
You need to QUIT making ad hominem comments and assumptions about
individual posters. As Ron Gregg, who is also "at Yale," pointed out,
being "at Yale" doesn't tell anyone anything about his financial
situation.

As was yours

And do you think the poster, and most of the rest of us, "got it" that
you weren't actually "imposing" on him the idea that he should buy a
new computer?
> nor do i enjoy dictatorships
You apparently don't know what a dictatorship is if you think it
amounts to a few expressions of opinion on FrameWorks.

An ad hominem attack. You have posted similar attacks more than once
before. It is not a "dictatorship" to tell people to argue positions
on an email list dedicated to discussing avant-garde film, rather than
posting personal attacks. I don't see that the statement of
Frameworks' purpose includes personal attacks.
