turns out that Filmbase, where we're renting the gear, have HMI kinoflows (flicker free fluorescents!) so we're playing it safe & going with those

Hi Moira,
I think I answered a question that you didn't ask. I have also shot in Ireland and the UK with the same Aaton and the frequency was exactly in phase with fluorescent lights (and no bar roll on a tube t.v., either).
