just about everything in terms of interface and functionality
i cannot name it all
it is commonly understood
there are good things about avid compared to fcp and vice versa - of course
not all of it is perfectly alike

before fcp
mac was the only computer that avid ran on
avid begged apple to give them more board slots
so the product could function at a higher level
(ever seen a discreet logic tower? - running on linux and microsoft )
apple wouldn't
avid moved on to pc
after apple came out with fcp
avid understood why they cld get no cooperation fr apple
