Sorry Moira, I did not read your post attentively enough.
Yes, the Superay is a dual machine and I think the sprocket has two sets
of teeth, one side for 8mm and the other side for super-8. You have to
pull on it, turn it upside down and reinstall it to switch formats. As far
as the take up spindles are concerned, you'll have to some adapters for
the shafts or place adapters on the feed and take-up reels.
