Hi Dara
I was recently in a show at the Getty Museum on this
very topic. Don't have the full screening list handy,
but some info can be found here:
www.getty.edu/visit/events/surveying_the_border.html
A review of sorts can be read here:
http://www.laprensa-sandiego.org/archieve/november04-05/border.htm
The show was curated by Glenn Philips who can, I'm
sure, forward you the information. Gringo-thon by
Greg Berger was fantastic, very funny. I also liked
the piece by Rubén Ortiz Torres tho I cant recall the
name. I do rememberte that he maages to turn a lawn
mower into a low rider.
Good luck,
A.
