No one's yet mentioned Naomi Uman's paired "Leche" and "Mala Leche"
which together are an interesting vision of life on either side of
the border.

And it's probably too obvious to say, but Orson Welles' "Touch of
Evil" is one of the great border fictions of all time. Hell, you
could even just show the first shot-sequence...
