Hi Ben (and Jason),
Greetings from Package Deals out of NYC...Likewise, we've found there's not
much microcinema action going on in Reykjavik, but we'd be happy to ask some
of the filmmakers we're working with if they might have any suggestions. I
do know of a curator/organizer who put together an interesting experimental
festival over in the east in a town called Egilsstadir - the website is
www.700.is. Her name is Kristin and she might have some ideas for venues.
Feel free to mention my name.
Free/inexpensive housing is a long shot unless you've got friends over
there. Maybe you can make some quickly when you're there?...
Anyway, I saw you're based in Providence and our touring "Cold Hearts"
program will be screening at AS220 on July 20. Hope you can make it!
