These French films are probably not well-known:

Suzanne Lemaître's "TOUTES LES FEMMES SONT DES
JEANNE D'ARC" (1984, 25') ("All Women are Joans
of Arc"). This film was actually completed by
Maurice Lemaitre. The soundtrack is in French
from the trial of Joan of Arc, but we translated
it for our video release.

Marcel Hanoun's "JEANNE D'AUJOURD'HUI" ("Joan of
Today"), a feature-length video made a few years
ago, portrays Jeanne as a woman alone in the
present day, surrounded by images of herself on
monitors and attempting to relate to herself and
the outside world. This film is not translated.

Friedl Kubelka also made a short, silent 16mm
film about two years ago inspired by the scene of
the judges whispering to each other in Dreyer's
film.
