Yes, for many reasons. I know what it's like to finish
on, and project film, so knowing the projection medium
gives me insight into the maker and exhibitor.
And if a maker goes to the trouble of making a film
look like video, or a video look like film, or a
fiction look like a documentary, that's important and
I want to know it (of course, AFTER seeing it at least
once in blissful ignorance).
