I'm using that term. Maybe for lack of a better one.

I've explained my problem with generic labeling as "video" - even if
65mm transfered to 5K is kind of an extreme example. (But what's
wrong with extremes to make a point ?)

If we consider digital intermediates I don't think "video" even
works, usually. I haven't heard of "2046" referred to as a 'video'

Then again when something looks as bad as the latest Chen Kaige "The
Promise" - it might as well be (he could have shot that film on HDV
for what he got).

So generic labeling as "video" will be as much a problem as generic
labeling as "film" I think.
