I liked this film a lot. It kind of mixes the two examples Gene gave,
going in and out of interior monologue. There's a certain distance in
the monologue that also gave me the impression of letter writing, as
if the source of the monologue is writing a letter to his girlfriend
or to himself about his girlfriend.
