It is a good program, I just showed there in June, but they do charge
a submission fee.
As it is now:
Mail to: NewFilmmakers, PO Box 4956, New York, NY 10185-4956
Include This Form, an NTSC VHS / DVD Screener, and Publicity Material
and the Submission Fee Payable To NewFilmmakers.
Material Can Not Be Returned.
****** Submission Fee: $15 Student / $20 Short / Feature $25 ******
Found: http://www.newfilmmakers.com/submit/submit.html
Perhaps they did not used to charge a submission fee? If not, it
would be interesting to know when and why it changed. I wonder if it
could be related to them accepting submissions through WAB.
Withoutabox is very fee oriented and require a large fee ($500 set-up
fee up front) to list a series or festival and set up online submission.
