Actually, unfortunately I couldn't make it to Columbia last week, but
Dan did, and he's been in touch with Helen's family about archival
issues regarding her film collection. There were memorial screenings
in Columbia organized by Josh Mabe and Laura Kissel, with prints
provided by Trixy Sweetvittles and other friends of Helen's. There
are also plans in the works for a New York City memorial
screening/tribute in early February. That screening is still in the
planning stages, but I'm sure that details will be provided to the
list as they develop.
