With Compressor you also have the option to create a droplet for a
specific compression setting. Put the droplet(s) on your desktop and
just drag and drop the source media onto the the droplet: new clips
at desired settings, even placed into a folder of your choosing.

This requires that the clips be standalone clips rather than subclips
of course.
