You just need to do the right pulldown conversion if editing digitally,
either in software or if the recorder supports it by using a pulled-up
sample rate. Same thing with DAT. Computers "running at different speeds"
impacting sync is utter nonsense, as is any inference of "speed differences"
with a disk or flash based recorder. There is no "speed". Sample rate is the
issue, and its just a question of knowledge, as with any aspect of film and
video production.
