 Masha,

What kind of project are you working on? I work as the archivist for Daniel Talbot, who has been one of the premiere NYC exhibitors since March of 1960. There was brief talk of turning my work into a book, but who knows. In any case, if you give me some more information I may be of some help.

Best,

Hi Masha,?

? I've done a book on Cinema 16 ("Cinema 16: Documents
Toward a History of the Film Society"), which is available
from Temple University Press in hard back and paper. A
companion volume, "Art in Cinema: Documents Toward a
History of the Film Society," is also available from
Temple, but (dammit) only in hardback. Both are much
involved in issues of programming and curating; the books
focus on two of the most influential film societies in
American history.?

? A third book, "Canyon Cinema: The Life and Times of an
Independent Film Distributor," will be available from
University of California in January; it's also relevant.?
?

Best,?

Scott?
