Adam,

Henry Hills' MONEY and its accompanying book MAKING MONEY is a great
alt-interview film, what with its incessant 4-12 frame cuts, dialogue that
is constantly interrupted, and meta through-line that develops over the
course of the film.

Jennifer Montgomery's NOTES ON THE DEATH OF KODACHROME also functions as an
interview video of sorts - she repeatedly (and self-consciously) hijacks the
interviews/conversations she's having with her onscreen subjects.

Miranda July's ATLANTA could also work for you, a bit of fictive performance
in the mix.

Okay,

BR
