personally, I don't think pigeons and dark, foreboding ambient sound
have reached the end of their useful life as subjects or components,
but then I would much rather watch a slow motion pigeon and monitor
the difference in my responses based on varying accompanying audio
frequencies and intervals for several hours than plenty of other
recent films, avant-garde or not, student or not.
visible sprockets on the other hand...
