The library of San Francisco Cinematheque holds a copy of a book by James Benning called FIFTY YEARS TO LIFE: TEXT FROM EIGHT FILMS BY JAMES BENNING. I don't know if THIRTY YEARS... is a distinct publication or not. The book was published in 2000 by Two Pants Press of Madison Wisconsin. It is spiral bound, and looks kinda like a course reader.
It contains scripts (and no images) of the films HIM & ME, AMERICAN DREAMS, LANDSCAPE SUICIDE, USED INNOCENCE, NORTH ON EVERS, DESERET, FOUR CORNERS and UTOPIA.
I realize that this has yet to be properly announced or promoted but, for anyone interested, Cinematheque lists the books in its library online using librarything. See www.librarything.com/catalog/Cinematheque
Anticipating inquiries, this library is open to the public (by appointment) as a member benefit but obviously requires that the patron visit in person. For further information, please contact email suppressed .
