Eiki tip

Anyone acquiring a used Eiki should check the condition of the
rubbery tip at the end of the focus knob, that engages the lens and
moves it back and forth. The material used in this tip can
disintegrate and even sort of liquify, and migrate its way into the
gate. If it seems to be shedding com ing apart or coming off in any
way, remove it entirely. You can rebuild the end of the shaft so it
will engage the lens by using layers of different size heat shrink
tubing.
