Yeah, just checked it out. It's definitely an 8mm camera ( 2X8) that he's
deliberately misrepresenting by calling it 16mm film. Technically, it is, but
it's obvious to me that he highlighted this feature in order to snare unwary
buyers who might think it was regular 16mm.
 
In an earlier EBAY posting he calls the same kind of camera 2x8, but
"standard 16mm," which not only is false, but proves he knows what he is doing.
 
Those aren't bad cameras for 8mm, but better prices for them can be found on
the UK EBAY site. Make the case to EBAY that it is not a 16mm camera as
advertised. This guy thinks he bought an exception for himself because he also
said it was 2x8, but then ask him why he said it was "standard 16mm," too, in
the other ad.
 
The fact that he did this in two separate postings, but altered it a little
in the second one, will only hurt his case with EBAY. It shows consciousness
of the situation.
