I bought stuff from that old guy on Columbus. I bought six
posters. I think in the eighties. I think around 1984 or 1985. What I
picked out, from a distance, was all early stuff, vintage 1966 or
1967. When he tried to sell me a Grateful Dead poster and found he
absolutely could not he gave me a free postcard with the Grateful Dead
mentioned on it, along with The Who, Creedence Clearwater, Cold Blood,
Spooky Tooth, and Quicksilver. Ben Friedman was his name. His shop was
at 401 Columbus on the west side of the street. That's just a little
bit north of Broadway. From what I understand, it's an Italian
restaurant now called Trattoria Pinocchio. How's the food there Jim?
Do you have any idea?
