I'm a late comer to the Bell & Howell 1574 (manual threader). It works
really well, esp after getting the habit of threading down. The 1574 (or
1579) are the only Bell & Howell projectors I would recommend. And the Bell
& Howell runs at 18fps! It's nice to have the option of using good glass for
18fps prints, and not be stuck with the glass on the Pageant.

CP's choice to use Hokushin/Apollo machines is a good one.... best slot load
machine every made IMO.
