A number of Peter Tscherkassky's films involve remakes or reprocessed
images from other films. Motion Picture and L'Arivee are both remakes of
Lumiere films. Outer Space, Dream Work also involve reprocessed footage
from feature films.

See http://www.tscherkassky.at/

Klaus Wyborny did a remake of The Birth of a Nation in his
feature-length Die Geburt der Nation, 1972/73.
