Well, I am not so experienced but some of my students have done short documentaries about the internet and they output the signal out of the computer screen (usually from a laptop) onto a miniDV deck and then digitize that onto Final Cut. It looks pretty good.

Colleagues,
I asked this question before and have somehow lost your responses, so here
goes again with my apologies:
I want to videotape website navigations. One sees this all the time in
documentaries. I assume they use cameras instead of capture software, since
the resolution of that is not sufficient. So how do I get the best
possible image quality using a camera? Is focal length an issue?
I can figure it out through trial and error, of course, but your experience
will help a lot. Thanks.
