You may already be familiar with these, but as a fan of the music and
era I thought I would throw them out there...
For concert/gig footage, you might want to look at "We Jam Econo: The
Story of the Minutemen" as a potential source. It has some great live
footage of the Minutemen, who as you most likely know used several
Pettibon pieces in their album art. It was released by Plexifilm.
There might even be some brief discussion of Pettibon in there.
For text, I would also recommend the book "Our Band Could be Your
Life" by Michael Azerrad. It features almost all of the bands you
mentioned. It also discusses Pettibon and his relationship (brother)
to Greg Ginn of Black Flag and the SST label.
