The main venues for 16mm projection in Los Angeles are the Silent
Movie Theatre, the Billy Wilder Theatre, the Aero Theatre, the
Egyptian Theatre, REDCAT, and the Echo Park Film Center (Los Angeles
Filmforum regularly programs at most of these venues). Special 16mm
screenings also take place at the Bing Theatre at LACMA, the Pacific
Design Center, The New Beverly Cinema, Linwood Dunn, the Goethe
Institute, and other independent theaters. Los Angeles filmmakers also
do what other filmmakers do, which is to project films in other cities.
