I think Deborah Stratman's work, especially "In Order Not to Be Here" falls
into this catagory. it's primarily shot in 16mm, but has that epic
'running' scene shot from a helicopter heat-sensitive video surveillance
camera-which was then transferred to 16mm and edited into the final piece.
also worth considering is that she exhibits that piece on both film and
video (i even think it's available through both Canyon Cinema and Video Data
Bank)
