I recommend the Lettrist films, such as Maurice Lemaitre's THE SONG
OF RIO JIM. There is no image - it is black film with music from a
Western on the soundtrack, and the viewer is instructed to image the
pictures. The only indication given is that it is the best film ever
imagined or imaginable.
